Keywords:

This study aims to reveal the role of Islam as a source of motivation and inspiration in forming and strengthening social solidarity among the people of Disanah Village. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with religious leaders, the community, and village youth, and documentation of socio-religious activities. The results of the study indicate that Islamic values such as ukhuwah (brotherhood), mutual assistance (ta'awun), and sincerity (ikhlas) have become the moral and spiritual foundations in the social life of the community. Collective worship practices such as congregational prayer, regular religious studies, and zakat/infak activities not only strengthen vertical relationships with God, but also form close social cohesion between communities. Islam is not only understood as a ritual teaching, but also as a source of social ethics that drives collective awareness to care for each other, especially in crisis situations such as disasters or poverty. Religious figures have a central role in instilling these values through preaching and role models. This study concludes that Islam, if understood substantively, can be a driving force for inclusive and sustainable social solidarity. This finding confirms the importance of strengthening Islamic values in community development based on local wisdom.
